Compatible with wireless 802.11N @ 150/300Mbps (MIMO) and 802.11G, B & A @ 11/54Mbps.Connect to 802.11N & 802.11A access points/networks in the 2.4 or 5.8GHz frequency band and A/B/G/N in 2.4GHz band. Hot Swappable. Modes supported: AP / infrastructure and ad-hoc.

Alfa AWUS051NH (subject item on this page) is designed for use with 11n & 11a routers: If you need only 11G/B, then AWUS036H is best because on 11b/g, AWUS036H has better signal than AWUS051NH. However, if you have 11n or 11abg AP/Router, it's best to use AWUS051NH for 11a connection and 11n “High data range-300Mbps” connection. Enables any laptop or desktop PC with a USB port, to access a wireless/WiFi network USB 2.0/1.1 Cable included; See extension cables available to place device in line-of-sight, outdoors, and/or high above PC
