Wireless-N card uses MIMO technology to enable significant increases in data throughput and link range without additional bandwidth or transmit power: Achieved by higher spectral efficiency (more bits per second per Hertz of bandwidth) and link reliability or diversity (reduced fading).

Wireless-N (802.11n) card also operates in 802.11G, 802.11B &802.11A modes: Is fully compatible with 802.11G, 802.11B &802.11A access points/networks.
